Carlos Roa

Visiting Fellow at the Danube Institute

Carlos Roa is an American geopolitical analyst, journalist, and strategist. He is a Visiting Fellow at the Danube Institute, where he is also Director of the Keystone Initiative. He is concurrently an Associate Washington Fellow with the Institute for Peace and Diplomacy. He was formerly the Executive Editor of The National Interest magazine, and remains a contributing editor of that publication. His research focuses on multipolarity, geoeconomics, history, and the effects of technology on institutions and societal development.
