Professor Frank Füredi is an internationally renowned sociologist, author and media commentator. He is an emeritus professor of sociology University of Kent in Canterbury and author of more than 25 books, which have been translated into 16 languages. His studies have been devoted to an exploration of cultural developments in western societies. In recent years he has published several studies on the impact of the culture wars on family life, socialisation, education and public life. In his latest work, “The War Against The Past: Why The West Must Fight For Its History” (2024), he highlights the growing significance of the past as a central battleground in the culture wars.
